The Example Of Psalm 23

Apostle John: Just as ourselves told King David, when he was writing the psalms, he was alone. But he did not know that his children and children's children will take it serious. Ourselves told him to continue to teach and publish the psalms. That was why every time the psalm was written, it was addressed, “To The Choirmaster.” But in the temple, he was teaching various psalms, even to his children, to his wives, to his concubines, and to his bodyguards.

The reason was because all these people who have heard the psalms, we shall through their hands make the psalms to spread, and through his children and children's children. Now humanity have compiled the psalms, and now everybody is struggling for it – it is very popular and widely used often.

Is there any person in this part of the world who does not have The Psalms Of David?

Head: There is none.

Apostle John: Son of man, when David started the psalms, it was like something belittled, something not useful. When he wrote Psalm 23, The Lord Is My Shepherd, he said it for himself alone. But King Saul was a living witness. His brothers who were present heard it. Even Goliath was present when David was reading the psalm. Even the Philistines heard it, but they did not value it. They thought that David was just declaring words.

David read this psalm when he was going into battle against Goliath. He read the psalm before he moved into battle against Goliath. And when he came into the battel field, he read it again.
